About the Role:

Role Functions

The Business Analyst will lead the review, analysis, and evaluation of key business systems in line with the IT Strategic Roadmap. The Business Analyst will be responsible for leading the gathering and documentation of requirements, defining scope, and developing objectives for initiatives within the IT Strategic Roadmap. The Business Analyst will be responsible for project initiation and ensuring alignment with pre-defined scope and objectives.

Organisational Contributions

Congruent with the ATSICHS Strategic Plan and IT Strategic Roadmap, the Business Analyst will contribute to the organisation by performing Business Analysis across all areas of the organisation. The role will specifically work on assisting and/or leading the review of the ATSICHS Electronic Medical Records System, working with the organisation to develop a client service design, and assisting and/or driving various other initiatives within the IT Strategic Roadmap.

Contribute to the Development of a Flourishing Team

Provide effective leadership, guidance, and support to staff to ensure a flourishing workplace culture that promotes the ethos and values of ATSICHS Brisbane as a long-standing Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation.

We are the largest, most comprehensive Aboriginal Medical Health Service in Queensland.

About You:

Essential:

  • Bachelor qualification in Information Technology/Business or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading business analysis initiatives
  • Experience working in a Microsoft environment including Microsoft 365, Azure, Power BI and data warehousing desirable
  • Experience in using project management tools 
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects
  • Ability to use industry standard business analysis frameworks and elicitation techniques to gain maximum value.
  • Decisive listening, influencing and persuasive skills.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Working with Children’s Card (Blue Card) or be eligible to apply
