about the role

Provide services that improve the wellbeing and safety of children and young people across the Northern Territory by supporting them to Engage, Grow and Achieve. This includes supporting educators and families to enhance their skills, knowledge and attitudes to ensure all children and young people access quality, inclusive education in line with the departments School Counselling Action Plan 2019 – 2023.

Early Years and Education Services (EYES) provides a holistic range of services and support to early childhood settings and schools to maximise outcomes for Territory children and young people. This includes services and support for quality teaching and learning, wellbeing and inclusion, early childhood quality and integration, and policy coordination. EYES also strategically implements government priorities, regulates early childhood services, provides advice to the Minister and the department’s senior executive, and engages with a broad range of stakeholders to benefit our clients.

• Professional 1 - Remuneration Package Range $75,438 - $97,170
• Professional 2 - Remuneration Package Range $100,030 - $119,644
• Professional 3 - Remuneration Package Range $123,289 - $137,889

Selection will be made at the P1, P2 or P3 level depending on the qualifications of the successful applicant.
