As Practice Leader in our Darwin office, you contribute at a high level to the professional development of staff, the development and implementation of the professional practice framework, and activities that strengthen the practice relationship between child protection, family support, domestic family and sexual violence and youth justice. Other duties include building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Northern Territory Public Sector and Aboriginal agencies to improve the quality and integration of services delivered to Territory Families’ clients in the region.

To be successful, you require a degree qualification of an Australian tertiary institution which gives eligibility for membership of a relevant professional body; significant experience, skills and knowledge in complex service delivery and case management in human services, with a sound understanding of contemporary child protection, domestic, family and sexual violence and youth justice. In addition, you will have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, family and community structures, and the ability to communicate and work in a culturally safe manner.
