Administrative Officer 6, Remuneration Package Range $142,695 - $159,228

(Comprising salary $123,559 - $138,034 superannuation, leave loading and the value of 2 weeks extra recreation leave)

Adult Allied Health Team

Ongoing vacancy available in Alice Springs

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will manage a team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech pathologists together with Allied Health Assistants and administrative officers to deliver community based allied health services to adults in Central Australia as part of Primary and Public Health Care.

The position also oversees staff administering the assistive technology programs and manages a Team Leader responsible for coordinating remote travel, supporting junior staff and facilitating staff access to professional development.

You will be an experienced allied health professional with a background in service delivery to adults with functional impairments and the frail aged and you will provide general leadership to the team including recruitment, resource management and coordination of service delivery. You will have leadership and management experience and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This position works closely with the Senior Manager, other allied health managers in Community Allied Health and liaises with local hospital based staff and key allied health personnel in NGOs and other community organisations.
