About Time For Justice is a leading consultancy that advocates for survivors of institutional child abuse all over Australia.

Due to rapid growth, ATFJ is looking for an experienced Intake Officer and Administrative Assistant to join the Client & Contact Services Team reporting to the Client Services Manager.

About You

Our ideal candidate is an emotionally intelligent and seasoned professional with experience working with vulnerable clients. You possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, allowing you to seamlessly transition between formal corporate and informal communication styles. You have a pleasant phone demeanour and are comfortable handling inbound and outbound calls daily. Your strong work ethic and adept time management skills enable you to maintain high standards of quality and productivity. Additionally, you contribute innovative ideas for continuous improvement. You have a positive outlook, a solution-oriented mindset, and thrive in a transparent and collaborative remote work environment.

About the Role

As the primary point of contact for our clients, you will initiate phone conversations and conduct thorough intake processes. This will be your core responsibility. Additionally, you will engage in various administrative tasks, including answering the office phone once a week and proactively reaching out to existing clients through multiple channels to keep them informed about the progress of their matters.

The successful candidate will:

  • Experience in comparable remote work environments.
  • Confidence in your skills and abilities, as well as the willingness to take initiative.
  • Adaptability to change and a desire for challenging work.
  • A dedicated home office that maintains privacy and minimises interruptions, emphasising the importance of individual privacy.
  • At least two years of proven administrative experience in industries such as Legal, Insurance, Social Justice, and Community Services.
  • Experience and understanding of how to communicate with vulnerable individuals.
  • Have a demonstrated history of maintaining confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with the Google Suite and CRMs.
