If this sounds like you, take a look at this exciting new role at Asthma WA.
We’re looking for a donor-loving, relationship-focused, data-mad fundraiser who is dynamic and outcome driven.
Working as part of the Community Engagement team, the role is responsible for implementing direct marketing and regular giving strategies across a variety of channels to engage, retain and convert individual givers to maximise fundraising revenue to agreed budgets and timelines.
The role also coordinates major giving and gifts in Wills, ensuring supporters are acknowledged and stewarded to continue to give and support our mission.
Ideally you will have previous not for profit experience, working in a similar fundraising role and have end-to-end campaign management experience. This will include strategic planning, briefing, targeting, proof-reading, budgeting and monitoring results.
As the role will be varied, you will thrive working on multiple projects, prioritising as necessary.
You will be equally comfortable creating content, and diving into data to gain valuable insights and optimise lean budgets.
You will also be a proven storyteller with excellent verbal and written communication skills with superior attention to detail.
We all take breathing for granted - until you can’t - or you witness someone who can’t.
One in nine Australians have asthma and one in four children will develop the condition in their childhood. It’s likely someone close to you has asthma, but you just don’t talk about it.
If not identified and well managed, asthma can severely affect a person’s quality of life, impacting them physically, socially and emotionally. Symptoms can go from mild to life threatening in a matter of minutes, and worse still, asthma can and does, take the lives of people we love.
Asthma WA is a Western Australian charity that has been providing FREE tailored education and support programs to the community for more than 55 years. We work with individuals and the community to better understand and manage asthma – helping people to live their best lives with confidence.
