About the role

The main priority of the Fundraising Manager is to work closely with their Philanthropy Manager, marketing and program teams to develop, implement and evaluate their fundraising campaigns. Your goal will be to grow and diversify income streams, build their brand and profile, and strengthen their relationships with supporters and donors. An average day could see you juggling the following activities and much more:

• Developing and implementing strategies to grow their fundraising, particularly regular giving, including through donor acquisition and retention, product development and entering new donor channels.
• Developing supporter journeys for Asthma Australia’s donors and funding partners.
• Conceptualising and developing the content for Asthma Australia’s fundraising appeals.
• Using digital, social and traditional media to maximise the effectiveness of Asthma Australia’s fundraising campaigns

About you

You are a highly capable and experienced Fundraising Manager with a proven track record of successful income generation, including appeals, regular giving and a strong donor journey.

You are an exceptional, engaging writer, with experience in brand management and donor communications, including digital appeals.

You are energised and excited by the opportunity to take on a broad portfolio of fundraising strategies in a vibrant team environment, working to transform the lives of people with asthma in Australia.

You are hard-working, organised, regularly show initiative and have a can-do attitude.

You are confident and capable engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
