The NLC is an independent statutory authority of the Commonwealth responsible for assisting Aboriginal peoples in the Top End of the Northern Territory to acquire and manage their traditional lands and seas.

The Minerals & Energy Branch is a dynamic work team with a focus on providing a high level of service to the NLC and its constituents. The Minerals & Energy Branch is responsible for a substantial portfolio of projects, including management of the NLC’s functions and duties in relation to the minerals and energy sectors.

The principal objective of these Senior Project Officer roles is to provide science-based factual and objective information to assist traditional Aboriginal owners, native title holders and the NLC in relation to minerals and energy projects.
