About Aspect Adult Community Services: Community based and individualised services for adults on the autism spectrum and their families. The focus is on the development of individual programs based on the specific interests, wants and needs of each individual.
About this role: As part of a supportive team including your Regional Coordinator, Team Leaders and Practice Leaders, an Active Support Worker will provide direct support to individuals on the autism spectrum, assisting them to achieve their personal goals and aspirations through centre and community-based activities. This may occasionally include activities out of business hours, however the general roster is Monday to Friday – no weekends!. Click here to view the Position Profile.
Completion of the mandatory NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’ is required. If you have not already completed the module, click here to access it. You may also be required to provide an International Police Check.
Applicants may be considered whilst they are in the process of obtaining relevant checks, however please note that if successful, a contract of employment cannot be issued until NDIS and WWCC have been finalised.
As a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI), Aspect employees receive tax-effective salary packaging opportunities including $15,899 each year tax free. This means you can increase the value of your take-home pay. These roles are covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS) and are classified at Level 2, depending on qualifications and experience. Rates range from $29.12 to $30.03 per hour. Casual rates range from $36.40- 37.54 per hour (casual loading included).
