About the team: 

As part of the Aspect Practice team, Aspect Inclusion leads Aspect to be a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for employees and service users through the development, delivery and monitoring of inclusion plans (Disability Access and Inclusion Plan, Reconciliation Action Plan, Multicultural Engagement Plan, and LGBTQIA+ Engagement Plan). We are a passionate and welcoming neurodiverse team who work in partnership with Autistic people to drive our inclusion initiatives.

About the role: 

Using your skills in coordination and organisation, you will support the initiatives being driven out of our Disability Access and Inclusion Plan, Reconciliation Action Plan, Multicultural Engagement Plan, and LGBTQIA+ Engagement Plan.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate Inclusion Groups activity through scheduling meetings, writing and/or disseminating agendas and minutes, maintaining up to date terms of reference and (depending on lived experience) attending or chairing meetings of our committees and advisory groups (see Position Profile above for full detail of these)
  • Coordinate, prepare and/or order supporting materials and resources required for various Inclusion initiatives
  • Act as the central point of contact for Inclusion queries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor and respond to queries in the Inclusion email inboxes
  • Maintain Inclusion Intranet and Internet pages with up to date information and resources
  • Work collaboratively across all Aspect teams and business units
  • Liaise with people on the autism spectrum as appropriate to ensure autistic voice is included in all projects.

Skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated understanding of vulnerable and/or diverse communities including intersectional identities
  • Attention to detail & high level of accuracy
  • Highly developed organisational & time management skills
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office applications (specifically MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel)
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple Aspect teams and the wider autistic community to drive inclusion
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
  • Solutions-focused approach to addressing challenges (problem-solving)

While you are not required to disclose if you have lived experience, for this role it is desirable that the person self-identifies as Neurodivergent and/or with at least one of the 4 focus areas from our Inclusion Framework (i.e. Disability; Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander; Multicultural; and LGBTQIA+).

A National Police Check clearance is a requirement and Aspect will arrange this.
