We are recruiting for a new member in our fundraising/ philanthropy team and would be keen to partner with the right person to grow into the role. This is a unique opportunity to build your career in the philanthropic sector with the support and training of a well-established, successful team.

You will be trained and mentored in the areas of writing and applying for grants and introduced to this rewarding role, whilst being provided with ongoing career development. You will coordinate grant applications, communicate with stakeholders, research potential grants and funding, plus action incumbent administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate grant applications
  • Build and maintain relationships across Aspect services
  • Conduct research to identify potential philanthropic partners
  • Assist with fundraising events and volunteering activities
  • Provide regular reporting on team KPIs
  • Support the Philanthropy team with general administration

Skills, experience and qualifications

  • Exceptional communication skills both written and interpersonal
  • Excellent IT skills with strong Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Well organised and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with philanthropy or fundraising is not essential, but would be beneficial
  • Experience in writing, reporting, tendering and grant applications (desirable)
  • Knowledge of marketing practices (desirable)
  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in, marketing, communications, fundraising or a related field

 A National Police Check clearance is a requirement and Aspect will arrange this.
