Join the ASMOF (NSW), the Doctors' Union, and play a key role in organising, campaigning and empowering doctors across NSW.
In this role, you'll work at the frontline of union organising: growing membership, supporting workplace leaders, and helping doctors take collective action to improve their working lives and the public health system.
In this role, you'll be a key player in:
- Implementing organising campaigns that grow union membership, visibility and influence
- Identifying and developing new delegates and workplace leaders, with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion
- Supporting members to take collective action and resolve workplace issues
- Conducting workplace mapping and analysis to uncover strategic opportunities
- Driving engagement and recruitment through workplace visits and digital channels
- Using data and insights to track progress and strengthen strategy
You'll thrive in this role if you:
- Believe deeply in collective action and union values
- Have experience in union or community organising, including recruiting and developing activists
- Can design and deliver strategic campaigns that achieve real outcomes
- Are highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Bring strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Are committed to equity, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of your work
- Show initiative, sound judgment and problem-solving capability
