The Australasian Society for HIV, Viral Hepatitis and Sexual Health Medicine (ASHM) is a professional, not-for-profit, member-based organisation. It supports its members, sector partners and collaborators to generate knowledge and action in clinical management and research, education, policy and advocacy in Australasia and internationally.

About you:

The Senior Project Officer plays a key role in managing projects within the Policy & Education Division with a particular focus on hepatitis B. With demonstrated project management experience you will provide direction to projects and committees ensuring projects are delivered to budget and deadlines.

You will be proficient working to, and reporting on, budgets and work plans, as well as providing direction to staff and conducting regular team meetings. You will be confident presenting, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders at both an operational and strategic level. Candidates with a knowledge and understanding of viral hepatitis and/or the development and delivery of adult education will be well regarded.
