About the role
Located in Gold Coast , and reporting to the Support Manager, you will work within the Purpose and Values of Aruma. You will be part of a high performing Youth Support Team working towards delivering a positive customer experience to those in our care. We have several casual opportunities available with conversion to permanent for the right candidates.

- Provide direct care within a residential setting, ensuring a safe and nurturing home-like environment and promoting positive family relationships
- You will have resilience to work within a trauma-informed framework that makes a real difference with young people who have complex needs and challenging behaviours

What you'll need
- Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care), or equivalent (click here to view more details),
- Valid Qld driver's licence
- Valid Australian working rights
- Willingness to complete a Child Safety Check
- Hold (or are willing to obtain) a Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid and CPR qualifications.
- A confirmation record of COVID-19 vaccination (dose 1, 2 )
Skills and experience
- Availability to work any rostered shifts across a 24/7 roster model, including awake nights and sleepovers
- You are passionate about supporting young people who have experienced trauma and have a disability
