About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated individual to join the Summerland Farm team, in the role of Team Leader, Horticulture/Site Services. You will provide effective supervision and support to a small team to carry out day to day operations. Team Leaders assist to maintain a high-quality standard to achieve business outcomes and to provide excellent customer service, ensuring repeat business. This role will focus on providing specific coaching, sometimes on a one to one basis, enabling employees with a disability to develop skills that meet key performance outcomes for Horticulture/Site Services.

What success will look like:

• Team members were supported to become skilled horticulture/ site services team members
• Provided effective operational leadership, that increased team productivity, and developed a positive values-focused team culture facilitating cooperation and collaboration
• Identified individual skillsets for diverse team members, that leverage their strengths to contribute to team outcomes
• Individual Supported Employment outcomes are achieved through effective coaching, and sensitive management of diverse needs.

Essential Criteria:

• A commitment to the Summerland Farm and Aruma Code of Conduct
• Previous barista experience in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated experience in the horticulture or site services
• Demonstrated experience in supervising employees and or teams
• A practical understanding of WHS requirements
• Sufficient physical fitness to meet the manual handling and environmental requirements of the position
• A current Australian driver's license.
