About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated individual to join the Summerland Farm team, in the role of Team Leader Administration. In this role you will support the Administration and Finance Officer oversee and lead administration processes to ensure targets are met in a safe and timely manner.

The Team Leader will lead a diverse team to meet customer expectations by providing excellent customer service to ensure repeat business. The role will include effective job scheduling, collaboration with internal and external stakeholder, adherence to quality requirements and administration efficiency.

This role will suit someone with experience in office administration, has led a small team (or similar administrative environment), and has sound knowledge of relevant Microsoft programs and business systems.

What success will look like in the role:

  • Work collaboratively within the Administration team to ensure services of the business are effectively promoted, planned, and coordinated
  • Display excellent customer service, build positive relationships with external customers, suppliers, and broader community that enhanced customer attraction to the business service offerings
  • Effective and efficient administrative support to ensure all business operation requirements are met for Summerland Farm wider teams
  • Supported Employees are supported to become skilled team members of the Administration services team
  • Provide effective operational leadership, that increased team productivity, with a positive values-focused culture facilitating cooperation and collaboration
  • Demonstrate proficient use of relevant Microsoft programs & business systems to meet reporting and administrative requirements

Essential Criteria

  • A commitment to the Summerland Farm and Aruma's Code of Conduct
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal, including adapting communication style to meet individual needs
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise employees and or teams
  • Excellent computer literacy and confidence in Microsoft programs and capability in using IT systems and technology
  • A practical understanding of WHS requirements
  • A current Australian driver's license

Nice to have:

  • Formal leadership training (such as Cert IV or Diploma of Frontline Management)
  • Previous experience working with people with disabilities.
  • Previous experience managing communications and social media
