The Systems Training Facilitator role is instrumental in ensuring that our staff have the knowledge and skills they need to proficiently operate our new systems.

You will be a savvy and dynamic facilitator, delivering targeted systems training for complex and broad software applications across various regions that is consistent, powerful and positively received.

What success looks like...

  • Contribute innovative and flexible systems training approaches and resources to suit various audience types, to support positive ongoing adoption of system knowledge and application.
  • Ability to understand software applications, functionality and processes
  • Support local change champion and super user networks to implement training effectively across a wide range of roles and regions.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, suppliers and customers.
  • Work closely with fellow system trainers as a collaborative team to deliver training to a wide audience across regions

Your new role...

  • Work in collaboration with project teams in support of business-critical systems implementation
  • Deliver a wide variety of training methods to support varying learning styles including traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc
  • Proactively learn new software applications and their functionality and processes to better support training execution and adoption
  • Work with the project’s detailed Training Plan to ensure all elements of training are understood and documented
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of training resources that are relevant, easy to follow and readily available for effective training and accessibility by staff; including Just in time (JIT) resources (e.g Videos, User Guides, Cheat Sheets)
  • Support the effective scheduling of training participants into appropriate, relevant training sessions

Must have's...

  • A positive attitude to people with disability, their families and carers
  • 7-10+ years direct (field based) training and facilitation experience
  • 2-3+ years direct (field based) training and facilitation experience – New systems implementation
  • Strong administration skills; time management, coordination of tasks
  • Sound understanding of systems, functionality and supporting processes and ability to translate technical functionality into business specific training
  • Adaptive training style and approach to support training audiences with varying computer and English literacy levels
  • Excellent communicator with confident, articulate Facilitation and Presentation skills, and able to adapt to multiple audiences
  • Self-led and motivated with the ability to manage your own day-to-day tasks
  • Able to plan effective training schedules within time constrained projects
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances
  • Excellent computer literacy and confidence and capability in using systems
  • Proficient Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Excel experience
  • A commitment to travel (interstate and within regions) and flexible working across sites
  • Own transport & drivers’ licence
