About the role:

The Service Delivery Supervisor coordinates and supports our teams in the Sydney region to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients. Our teams are made up of General Hands and Team Leaders carrying out lawn and garden works, cleaning and soft property maintenance to maintain a wide variety of sites for our commercial & residential clients. The role will lead from the frontline, working with teams to complete works at customers sites, coordinate site teams, effectively communicating with customers to achieve contract outcomes and ensure tasks are carried out following the correct procedures to achieve a high standard of quality work. Some days you will need to get your hands dirty to get the job done and other days you will be sitting with the General Manager in formal meetings with our high profile ASX listed clients.

What success looks like:

  • Local facility services teams are led effectively, receive coaching and support to meet schedules, contract specifications, and service management responsibilities in line with our purpose and values.
  • All incidents or issues are reported or escalated appropriately with actions followed up to create a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Assists the Service Delivery Manager with proposed tenders or quotations; and maintain consistent site visits to facilitate effective and cost-efficient contract services.
  • Assistance and advice is provided to the Workforce and Resource Planning Manager to ensure weekly and monthly scheduling is accurate, efficient and work is completed as planned.

What you need to successful in this role:

  • A minimum Cert IV horticulture or parks and gardens certificate; or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Formal management or leadership training and qualifications; or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Formal WHS&E training and qualifications; or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • A high level of physical fitness to meet the manual handling and environmental requirements of the position.
  • Sound communication and negotiation skills, able to resolve conflict and assess when to escalate issues appropriately.
  • Problem solving and technical skills to solve maintenance, contract and scheduling issues.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to coordinate and support teams that are working remotely over a large geographical area.
  • Ability to plan, monitor and action contract schedules in a timely manner, promoting quality, efficient and safe work practices at all times.
  • A practical understanding of WHS and NDIS requirements.
  • A current Australian driver's license, National Police Clearance, Asbestos Awareness Certificate, Ground Applicator Licence, White card and Working with Children Clearance.
