Your Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Real Estate, your role as Real Estate Leasing Officer will be responsible in ensuring Aruma meets all occupier obligations for market leased properties including payments, repairs and maintenance and mitigates unnecessary expenditure by identifying Landlord obligations. You will provide organisational and administrative support to the national property portfolio via the administration of owned, leased, and licensed assets, inclusive of residential accommodation, commercial properties, and special-use facilities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare weekly and monthly commercial mapping and critical date reports (Portfolio reports, lease expiration, rent reviews, and other relevant reporting as requested) and distributes to Head of Real Estate and relevant stakeholders
  • Manage the property database, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial and non-financial data (rentals, schedule of properties, locations, property management data, contact management, title documents, lease terms, and relevant financial information)
  • Maintain and deliver a high level of customer satisfaction and feedback in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements and associated KPI's.
  • Maintain accurate property portfolio data management via out in house systems and reporting infrastructure
  • Provide timely administrative support to the Real Estate, Property and Commercial resources in supplying prompt and accurate information relating to the Aruma property, assets, and infrastructure

About you

  • Tertiary qualification - Certificate 3 in Business Administration or Diploma of Business
  • Ideally you have Real Estate/Property background and some accounting experience / financial skills from an Accounts Payable background or similar
  • Hold a Certificate of Registration/Willing to undertake one at minimum
  • Working knowledge of Residential Tenancy Act, experience in the disability sector.
  • Intermediate skills using excel spreadsheets and Microsoft applications
  • Sound Financial skills from an Accounts Payable background or similar
  • A Current Australian Driver's License.
