About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated individual to join the Summerland Farm team, in the role of Quality and Administration Coordinator. The successful applicant will actively support the General Manager in achieving compliance and best practice in the areas of quality, risk and safety and administration.

What success will look like:

  • Plans and procedures are developed and implemented in accordance with the varied requirements of the Aruma Quality Management System, Disability Services Standards, Work, Health and Safety (WHS) legislation, external certifications and regulatory bodies
  • Processes and procedures are compliant and current including Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Safe Operating Procedures through a collaborative approach with Coordinators and teams
  • Corrective action measures and improvement processes are implemented following the reporting and investigation of all identified incidents, near misses, risks and hazards
  • Mentoring and coaching of staff in administration tasks and information systems, quality and WHS to ensure compliance and learning outcomes have been achieved
  • Mentoring and coaching of employees in safe operating procedures to ensure learning outcomes have been achieved and productivity levels are increased
  • Administrative tasks are completed accurately, promptly, consistently and in alignment with business process Key Performance Indicator's (KPI's)
  • Effective use and maintenance of administration systems to ensure data currency and compliance
  • Successful working relationships with the broader Summerland Farm team, through facilitated cooperation and collaboration that reflects our values and produces effective team and Business results

Skills that make you stand out:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification preferable Cert IV Work, Health & Safety or Cert IV Administration and/or equivalent knowledge or experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant WHS legislation and quality assurance systems
  • Demonstrated experience in administration and effectively using information systems
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and influencing change in the workplace
  • Experience in developing, implementing and assessing Safe Work Method Statements and Safe Operating Procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and positively engage with a range of people including customers, employees and staff to ensure positive experience and achieve business outcomes
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution skills including the ability to escalate issues where necessary
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and ability to work autonomously
  • Comprehensive computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office applications, and a capacity to adopt new technologies to support business improvements
  • A current Australian drivers' licence
