Aruma is seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist who will utilise their skills and knowledge in occupational therapy to provide flexible family centered services to children with a disability and their families.

New graduates are encouraged to apply as Aruma provides paid external supervision, a vibrant internal community of practice and collegiate support lead by an experienced manager!

You will join a fun and supportive trans-disciplinary team who are committed to making a difference in children's lives who have a disability and their families.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Qualifications and experience and/or placements in Occupational Therapy
  • Commitment to family-centred principles
  • Assess the Occupational Therapy needs of children and adults utilising appropriate assessments and investigation processes
  • Develop professional relationships with families, which respect individual styles and acknowledge their strengths and capabilities
  • To participate in the formulation, implementation and evaluation of individualised service plans
  • To provide interventions that promote learning through play and/or active participation for both adults and children, in both centre and home based setting
  • Current Drivers Licence
