About the Role

The Employment Support Assistant will liaise with the Employment Support team and other relevant stakeholders to assist in all admin tasks relating to the NDIS new Employment model, and to comply with Aruma's processes, so all letters of support and service agreements are finalised and completed in line with the current tools, guidelines and requirements.

What success looks like…

  • Letters of support were accessible to the Employment Support team to be given to Supported Employees in a timely manner with correct and current information regarding Frequency and ratio of supports and total amount of funding required
  • All Service Agreements and Schedules of Support documents were created as needed, and in a suitable time frame for the return of NDIS plans
  • Returned documents were filed correctly and efficiently with relevant internal databases updated in a timely manner for each business and Supported Employee
  • Assisted the Employment support team and other Business stakeholders to implement new reporting or administration systems, guideline or tools as required.

Skills that make you stand out...

  • Commitment to the Aruma Code of Conduct
  • Excellent administration and time management skills with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent computer literacy, particularly Microsoft office and SharePoint
  • Sound numerical literacy and accuracy
  • Experience working in the Disability Sector
  • Experience or understanding of NDIS and Supported Employment, including Service Agreements and Schedule of supports.
