If this sounds like a team you want to be part of, read on because we are on the lookout for an experienced Driver - Laundry to join our amazing team. You will collaborate with other team members in the Laundry or Dispatch, building and maintaining positive relationships with our stakeholders by providing a timely and effective delivery service of laundry linen to business customers within the Newcastle and Hunter region.

What success looks like…

  • Worked collaboratively with team to assist Supported Employees by supervising and supporting allocated Driver offsider.
  • Supported Employees were provided coaching and training to meet their employment goals and supported flexibly and sensitively in the workplace.
  • Positive team relationships facilitated cooperation and collaboration, reflecting our values, and producing effective team results.
  • All motor vehicles were maintained to a high standard, kept clean and in good working order, with any issues reported promptly for servicing.
  • Incidents, injuries/near misses were reported immediately. Hazards and risks identified and acted upon to create a safe and compliant work environment
  • Excellent customer service promoted Aruma services and built positive relationships with external customers, suppliers, and contractors.

Skills and experience that make you stand out…

  • Current valid Driver's Licence.
  • Previous commercial laundry experience and/or driving and delivery experience.
  • Ability to work flexible hours during busy times to meet seasonal deadlines including weekends and evenings.
  • Reasonable physical fitness. A capacity to undertake manual handling tasks safely, which may involve assisted lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and repetitive actions.
  • Sound Communication, including effective verbal and listening skills.
  • Ability to resolve conflict and assesses when to escalate issues.
