Aruma
  • Location: Swan Hill
  • Work Type: Casual

Aruma needs YOU (yes, you!)

At Aruma, we support people with disabilities to live great lives. It is the reason we exist - after all, why should anyone have to settle for anything less? To make this a reality, we rely on the skill and commitment of our Aruma team.

Our Aruma team are incredible people. We are bold, brave and courageous. We see possibilities where others may not. We stand up for the things that matter and stand together as a team. We are serious about human rights and have a knack for finding joy in life - even in the most unexpected places.

When you are part of the Aruma team, you are supporting people, pioneering new paths, challenging assumptions, daring to think differently, and telling society to raise the bar higher.

We are after likeminded people who have values similar to us, there is no specific 'mould', we need a team that is as diverse as our customers.

There are, however, a few boxes you will need to tick:

  • Enthusiastic about supporting people with disabilities to live great lives. The lives they want and choose, we are about putting the people we support first. That is non-negotiable
  • Current Full Victorian Driver's License
  • Current First Aid Certificate with CPR
  • Cert IV in Disability, preferred but not essential
  • Current NDIS screening check or willing to obtain prior to commencement
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to liaise at all levels
  • Service excellence with a proven ability to lead and continuously improve processes.
  • Current WWCC or willing to obtain (a voluntary WWCC is NOT acceptable)

So, who is Aruma? We are glad you asked

Aruma is a new name in disability services, but we are definitely not new. You might remember us as House with No Steps and The Tipping Foundation, two great organisations, with over 100 years of combined experience, who came together in 2018.

Please apply via the button below and include a covering letter and a current resume outlining your relevant experience and qualifications.
