If this sounds like a team you want to be part of, read on because we are on the lookout for a dynamic Collections Coordinator. A key focus of this role in addition to the actual recovery work itself, will be developing and mapping the processes required to recover the different kinds of debt in the organisation. The role has both an internal and external focus, with management of relationships with the NDIS and service providers as well as customers.

What success looks like

  • Establishment of a strong working relationship with key stakeholders at the NDIA, external providers, customers, and within Aruma
  • Work with the Debt Recovery Coordinator to review, plan and implement system changes and improvements.
  • Manage, maintain and ensure the integrity of the Support Services debtors' ledger.
  • Working closely with the Debt Recovery Coordinator to ensure management processes are consistent for each category of debt.
  • Build relationships with key customers so that the incidence of overdue accounts is minimised.
  • Provide accurate and timely debtors reports and analysis to management.
  • Credit control and coordination.
  • A significant reduction in overdue balances and a subsequent ongoing low level of overdue balances.
  • Timely and accurate reporting of debtors balances and aged analysis.

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across a multi-faceted organisation and with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to provide interpretations meaningful to senior management, and makes recommendations and outlines needed actions.
  • Knowledge of the Disability sector and NDIS framework.
  • High level computer literacy and confidence and capability in using systems and technology.
  • Adaptability and flexibility for managing change
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume workload through planning and prioritisation.
  • A current Australian driver's license.
