Aruma is seeking a passionate and highly experienced Change Manager for a fixed term contract until the end of November 2020. Reporting to the Transformation and Program Manager, you will lead the effective implementation of IT Transformation Program change initiatives and support the successful adoption of change at all levels of the organisation by partnering closely with Aruma’s key stakeholders and staff.

You are an innovative, natural leader, “hands on” and have significant experience in planning and managing change management activities across enterprise scale projects of work.

What success looks like:

  • Flexible, pragmatic and adapts easily to new situations, has strong communication skills with the ability to solve problems, execute and transfer knowledge
  • An agile approach to achieving sustainable change, focused on the most important activities, determined by customer value and stakeholder impact
  • Ability to understand and manage change at a project and program level
  • Responsible for delivering change activities including assessment, analysis, development, documentation and implementation of change to ensure successful implementation across multiple Transformation projects.
  • Focused first and foremost on understanding changes in processes and organisational impacts
  • An innovative strategist who is able to think outside the box
  • Is hands-on and tracks and reports on progress and delivery

A day in the life of a Change Manager:

Change Planning:

  • Manage and lead complex change management programs across broad ICT technology platforms
  • Develop and implement effective Change Management Plans (including Communications) across multiple projects within the program
  • Develop and Deliver: Change Management Strategies; Stakeholder Analysis, Detailed Impact Assessment and Action Plans; Communications Plan and Communication Materials; Training Needs Analysis
  • Develop Super User and Change Champion programs in support of change implementation and end user adoption

Change Monitoring:

  • Ability to effectively monitor change, allocating the right resources to resolve issues before it becomes a problem that can threaten a project.
  • Check at regular intervals whether, or to what degree, the activities outlined in the Change Plan have been implemented and achievement of milestones.
  • Develop regular reporting, run surveys or other methods to gather feedback.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Understand individual and organisational change management and strategies to effect positive change implementation
  • Work closely with project teams to understand the complexity and degree of change to existing processes, systems, organisational structure and job roles
  • Conduct stakeholder impact assessments to understand unique stakeholder needs and proposed new ways of working per stakeholder group
  • Prepare business change readiness assessment criteria
  • Develop Communications Plans and targeted collateral, working closely with Marketing to utilise Aruma’s communications channels

Must haves:

  • 10+ years leading end to end change management – ICT systems implementation
  • CCMP (Change Management Practitioner Certified Professional) or PROSCI Change Management Certification
  • Highly effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong administration skills; time management, coordination of tasks
  • Excellent computer literacy and confidence and capability in using systems
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship building skills
  • Proficient Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Excel experience
  • Ability for interstate travel and flexible working across sites
  • Own transport & drivers’ licence

Nice to haves:

  • Experience in leading change across systems i.e CRM, ERP, Finance, HR systems
  • Experience working in the Disability Sector
  • Understand Project management principles and lifecycles
  • Agile Change Management experience
  • Knowledge of MS SharePoint for document management
