We are currently seeking an innovative Business Learning Designer & Facilitator to champion and create engaging and contemporary learning resources and materials and delivering learning initiatives to employees of all abilities.

Reporting to the National Learning and Development Manager you will be part of this inspiring and collaborative team of L&D professionals supporting Aruma Businesses which provide opportunities for people with disabilities to be employed in meaningful work.

  • Blended learning options are available and offered to all employees; e.g online, face to face, virtual
  • Virtual and other innovative learning strategies are implemented
  • Learner satisfaction rates are high, and employees are motivated and excited about attending training
  • Workforce skills and capabilities are improved

A day in the life of a Business Learning Designer & Facilitator...

  • Design and implement training needs analysis and evaluation frameworks that support General Managers in achieving business outcomes
  • Map mandatory training requirements against identified training needs in consultation with L&D, HR and Business line management
  • Schedule, coordinate and promote mandatory training programs and learning resources available for staff
  • Implement learning style assessment processes to assist in training delivery to different learner groups
  • Design and develop training programs and learning resources which use a variety of methods for delivery to meet a wide range of adult learning styles, championing innovation and exploring different delivery options for learning and development
  • Contextualise materials to meet needs of learner's based on pre-assessment, learning styles and personality
  • Ensure a robust evaluation framework; learning evaluations are well designed with learner feedback used to improve the quality of delivery and customer outcomes

Must have's...

  • A demonstrated commitment to Aruma's Code of Conduct
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or relevant field
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in learning design and delivery
  • Cert IV TAE and instructional design certification
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to deliver engaging presentations or training programs
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication including demonstrated skills in consultation and managing stakeholder relationships
