We have an exciting opportunity for a resilient, experienced and dedicated Billing Analyst - Community to support our Billing Team in end-to-end billing practices, maintaining data integrity to ensure timely recognition of revenue.

The Community Analyst, supports the Senior Accountant, Billing in end-to-end billing practices, maintaining data integrity to ensure timely recognition of revenue. Application of industry knowledge and accounting expertise will facilitate reviews of contracts by understanding key business drivers that impact financial performance. This role will have a specific focus on Community Supports, Southern (Victoria).

What you need to be successful in this role

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across a multi-faceted organisation and with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Sound analytical skills to provide meaningful insights to senior management, and make recommendations and outlines required for actions Strong interpersonal and active listening skills, and the capability to resolve conflict
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to meet people's needs
  • Strong administrative skills and experience; effective time management and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities
  • Sound computer literacy, demonstrating confidence and capability in using systems and technology, particularly Excel, and experience with IT systems such as:
  1. Scheduling and/ or payroll systems
  2. CRM systems
  3. Accounts receivable billing systems
  • The ability to be flexible, agile, and resilient in a changing environment
  • Ability to understand the NDIS Price Guide and flexibility within budgets, the NDIS legislation and rules including provisions relating to reasonable and necessary support services and the role of the mainstream service system.
  • A current Australian driver's license and the ability to travel intra or interstate from time to time.

Skills and experience that make you stand out…

Essential or Must have

  • A commitment to the Code of Conduct of Aruma
  • Knowledge of the Disability sector and knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) framework
  • Prior experience in billing or similar transactional processing
  • NDIS Worker Screening clearance and WWCC.
  • A confirmation record of COVID-19 vaccination (dose 1 & 2)

Desirable or Nice to have

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business diploma/ degree in progress would be well regarded.
