We are seeking a dedicated and committed Regional Billing Assistant in ensuring and enhancing the reputation of Aruma's billing function, exceeding both internal and external customer expectations.

You will be working with the Senior Accountant, to provide high standards of customer service and levels of Support Services to assist them in establishing well-written documentation to support the billing process run smoothly.

What success looks like

  • Effectively processed service bookings and related queries
  • Promptly addressed errors and issues, ensuring revenue completeness
  • Accurately managed billing processes: end to end billing, including onboarding customers, reviewing Service Agreements and creation of service bookings.
  • Adapted to new system processes and capability and able to utilise and build on the extended capacity they deliver
  • Effectively communicates and maintains relationships with external and internal customers
  • Works with the newly implemented systems of RITEQ, SCOUT and CareLink and explores their full capacities and interactions with other work processes
  • Ensuring Plan-Managed and Self-Managed customer details are up to date
  • Trains staff as required
  • Look at ways to improve billing, both NDIA and ad hoc billing
  • Be the key contact for billing issues.

Skills and experience that make you stand out

  • A minimum of 2 years administrative experience in an office environment
  • An understanding of human rights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to resolve conflict
  • High level of numeracy and literacy
  • A current Australian driver's license
  • Excellent computer literacy and confidence and capability in using systems and technology - strong Excel skills will be well-regarded
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • NDIS exposure would be a bonus
  • Prior exposure to the following systems: RITEQ, CareLink, CRM systems
