As our new IT Analyst, you will monitor and report on the significant resources the IT team is responsible for across the organisation. This includes monitoring large supplier contracts, and evaluating project metrics (cost, time, quality) against specified objectives and resources.

What success looks like...

The focus of this role is to support the IT team's effective decision-making for the allocation of IT resources and capital investments that align with Aruma's strategic priorities and sustainable business practices. You will:

  • Suppliers of key IT assets are analysed to ensure Aruma understands all costs of maintaining our computer SOE; and recommendations made to reduce costs and improve quality.
  • Analysed accounts with spend exceeding $100k pa providing insight to manage costs, supplier performance and to better manage resources.
  • Provided effective and timely support to General Manager, IT during budget preparation and ongoing quarterly and monthly analysis.
  • Coached and developed members of the IT Administration team to ensure they are supported and given guidance to help prioritise and build capability across their deliverables.
  • Provided effective oversight of the requirements, framework conditions and progress of short-term IT projects
  • Led and/or contributed to process improvement initiatives for projects

  • Commitment to work collaboratively with all stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high level technical skills.
  • Strong computer literacy with confidence and capability in using IT systems, particularly MS Office (Excel).
  • Strong administration and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills that translate technical and complex systems into everyday terms.
  • Demonstrated confidence to facilitate and present to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to lead, coach and support team members, encouraging personal growth.
  • Basic business acumen and experience with budgets.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification, a minimum of 2 years project management/ coordination in an IT context.
