Are you passionate about increasing opportunities for Deaf and Disabled artists? With a focus on high-quality contemporary programming, disability advocacy, and capacity building, Arts Access Victoria is Victoria’s leading inclusive arts organisation, working to raise the profile of Deaf and Disabled artists.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join us to take us on a journey towards process excellence using two key quality and audit compliance frameworks – the NDIS Practice Standards, and the Commonwealth Government’s Home Support Program standards.

This newly created role will report directly to the Director of Operations and Development, and will work right across the organisation overseeing AAV’s quality management systems. You will be a self-starter and enthusiastic about developing commonsense easy-to-use policies, processes, and risk frameworks. You will liaise with our two main funding bodies regarding their regular audit processes, and guide AAV’s compliance and risk management processes. You will have lots of autonomy and you will have the enthusiastic support of the Executive Team to improve AAV’s quality systems.

  • Gross salary $60,450pro rata plus superannuation at 3 days per week

You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in risk, compliance, and quality for at least 5 years
  • A proven track record of coordinating quality assurance and quality audit processes
  • A continuous improvement background from the community service or health sector (preferably with NDIS experience)
  • Demonstrated understanding of relevant legislation
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable, but not essential
