Artback NT is the Northern Territory's visual and performing arts touring agency, connecting people and place through arts development and touring. Artback NT is looking for a skilled cross cultural worker who is passionate about the role that arts and culture can play in creating and supporting vibrant communities. This position offers variety, challenges and opportunities to show initiative. Artback NT offers a great work environment and you will be part of a small, friendly and committed team based in Darwin but which operates across offices in Darwin, Alice Springs and Borroloola.
The role is 3 days a week with an hourly rate of $40 plus on costs. The position is based in the Darwin office. Management of Artists on Tour program incorporates artist liaison / scheduling / logistics / grant writing / marketing / promotions / and social media duties as required with the support of the Artback NT team. The Remote Arts and Culture Program in Borroloola / Roper Gulf Region provides key support for the Malandarri Festival Director and Cultural Events Officer based in Borroloola. Together these positions deliver the multiyear remote arts and cultural program supported through the McArthur River Mine Community Benefits Trust.
Travel for periods of time and out of hours work is required whilst on tour or based in community.
