The position calls for an individual who has high-level analytic skills, financial management expertise, and significant experience in accounting and budget planning; with documented experience in human resource systems management.
Reporting directly to the CEO, at St Kilda Community Housing Ltd., this is a 4 day a week senior management role that oversees all functions of the organisation’s finance and accounting department (including payroll), whilst supporting the CEO in all matter business-finance related. The role is also responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resource plans (supported by our HR provider) ; Oversight of the IT system (in conjunction with external contractors), and overseeing communications and compliance reporting.
At present the position has one direct report.
The successful applicant will have extensive experience in managing finance and staff, preparing and analysing reports, and making improvements to fiscal tools and systems. Relevant qualifications are expected in the fields of:
Experience in not-for-profit or community housing sector desirable but not essential.
