Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS) is a not-for-profit aged care and community service provider that was established in July 2014 to operate residential care facilities and community care programs in the Northern Territory.
ARRCS provides regional care and support to people and their communities throughout the Northern Territory from Darwin to Docker River. It’s our goal to offer opportunity and choice so individuals can live life in all its fullness.
Opened in 2015, Nganampa Ngura Mutitjulu-nya Flexible Aged Care facility is located in Mutitjulu, the heart of Uluru and currently has 19 residents. Nganampa Ngura Mutitjulu-nya is a welcoming and comfortable space where the emotional, spiritual and cultural beliefs of our residents are at the centre of everything we do. Mutitjulu is located a 20 minute drive from Yulara. Yulara is the resort town and has a range of facilities including restaurants, a supermarket, a bank, post office and cafes. Staff accommodation is provided in Yulara and the resort and there is transport available to and from the centre.
We now have a full time permanent opportunity for an experienced RN to join our team at Nganampa Ngura Mutitjulu-nya Flexible Aged Care facility. Reporting to the Service Manager, this is a key role within the team and will provide leadership and clinical advice to Enrolled Nursing and Personal Care Assisting staff. As the RN, you will also ensure resident care is assessed, planned and implemented, and progress is evaluated in accordance with the ARRCS model of care and takes into consideration each individual’s physical, social, emotional and clinical needs.
As ARRCS is a Not for Profit organisation, we have great benefits including;
Our Vision for Reconciliation is to advocate for First Nations people through our services in a way that empowers self-determination for economic, social, and cultural development. We will be unified in creating a place of belonging and respecting the connections First Nations peoples have to communities, lands, and cultures in the Northern Territory and beyond. At ARRCS, we seek to work in ways that reflect our commitment to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the First People and to treat their cultures and beliefs with respect. We believe in coming together as one to ensure First Nations communities from Darwin to Kaltukatjara (Docker River) receive the quality services, comfort, and care to which all Australians deserve.
