Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS) is a not-for-profit aged care and community service provider that was established in July 2014 to operate residential care facilities and community care programs in the Northern Territory. ARRCS provides regional care and support to people and their communities throughout the Northern Territory from Darwin to Docker River. It’s our goal to offer opportunity and choice so individuals can live life in all its fullness. 

About the role

Opened in 2015, Nganampa Ngura Mutitjulu-nya Flexible Aged Care facility is located in Mutitjulu, the heart of Uluru and currently has 19 residents. Nganampa Ngura Mutitjulu-nya is a welcoming and comfortable space where the emotional, spiritual and cultural beliefs of our residents are at the centre of everything we do. Mutitjulu is located a 20 minute drive from Yulara. Yulara is the resort town and has a range of facilities including restaurants, a supermarket, a bank, post office and cafes. Staff accommodation is provided in Yulara and the resort and there is transport available to and from the centre.

We now have a casual opportunity for a Hospitality Worker to join our team at Nganampa Ngura Mutitjulu-nya Flexible Aged Care facility. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will work with the hospitality teams across the Laundry, Cleaning and kitchen as required. These opportunities will suit committed people who have care and compassion and enjoy interacting with our consumers within our facilities. As the ideal candidate you will be caring and understanding that you will interact in a meaningful way to those living within Aged Care facility.  

About your skills and experience

  • Demonstrated experience in similar positions
  • Ability to manage and work within a culturally diverse team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An ability to undertake a range of manual handling functions related to the role
  • Food Handlers Safety Certificate
