Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS) is a not-for-profit aged care and community service provider that was established in July 2014 to operate residential care facilities and community care programs in the Northern Territory. ARRCS provides regional care and support to people and their communities throughout the Northern Territory from Darwin to Docker River. Community Care Alice Springs delivers disability and aged care services 365 days and has more than 40 staff and 840 clients. Our services are distributed across Alice Springs and surrounding communities. We now have an opportunity for a part-time cleaner to join our Alice Springs Community Care team. In this role you will be responsible for providing in-home cleaning services to our clients so you must have an NT drivers’ license and reliable transport as you will work independently and alongside the clients to promote independence with domestic tasks.
You are a self-starting and driven individual who is capable of working on your own and assisting others to achieve their independence goals with domestic tasks. You display a professional, positive, proactive attitude and have a high level of interpersonal skills which allows you to liaise and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including aged care and people living with a disability. You will also have proven knowledge and physical capacity to use and maintain equipment as required by the role. The safety and comfort of our residents must always be at the forefront of your mind. You are respectful and have a welcoming, caring and compassionate nature.
