Program Officer

  • Permanent part time, 3 days per week

Arrabri Community House is seeking a Program Officer on a permanent part time basis. The successful applicant would be responsible for planning, implementing and the continued development and growth of ACFE pre-accredited, fee for service and recreation courses and events. They would be required to undertake all aspects of evaluation, reporting and accountability. A thorough understanding of a community development approach is necessary.

The successful candidate will:

  • Engage with local residents, community stakeholders and relevant networks
  • Co-ordinate and administer the annual programming schedule
  • Plan, resource, implement and evaluate a range of community education, health and wellbeing and social interest programs
  • Plan, resource and implement ACFE funded programs
  • Co-ordinate tutors including sourcing
  • Participate in forums, networks, partnership projects and community events
  • Undertake reporting and accountability requirements
  • Assist the Arrabri Manager in the development, implementation and evaluation of plans, policies and procedures
  • Assist the Arrabri Manager in the preparation of written reports, briefing papers and funding submissions
  • Assist with the development and implementation of the volunteer program
  • Contribute to an effective and professional team environment

Arrabri is a small office and the successful application must enjoy working in an a team environment and be prepared to assist in all areas of office administration.
