They’ve matured to an organisation that is not only established, but a key resource for young people who are battling anything from everyday issues to tough times. As digital leaders in youth mental health, they’ve pioneered a number of products to help those in need of practical support for thousands of Australians.
This position is as a Junior Developer will be working in the digital team to build products that help young people. Day to day you’ll be working on new features and functionality for new tools and components that will be used on existing sites as well as sites to host upcoming web-apps. You’ll also play a key role in exploring new ideas and concepts that require a quick prototype to test their validity and scope.
Passionate about JavaScript and with an eye for web solutions you’ll have worked in small teams before and enjoy the variety that this entails. Attentive to detail, you’ll be pragmatic about where short cuts can be taken versus where to invest the time for a better outcome.
Up to date with best practices surrounding JavaScript (Node/React), HTML and CSS, you’ll have a good handle on programming concepts such as data structures (ie arrays and linked lists) and have a good handle on testing with tools like Jest etc.
