The Australian Refugee Association Inc. (ARA) is a community-based organisation providing settlement, migration and other forms of assistance to refugees, migrants and other people of concern. As a member of our team, you will be supporting new arrivals in South Australia to achieve their social, economic and community participation goals. You will be making a difference in the lives of individuals and families as they re-establish themselves in a new home.
ARA is seeking an experienced Project Officer to deliver our Community Services Support Program (CSSP). We are seeking an individual with relevant qualifications and experience in program development and delivery as well as case management services and support to clients from migrant and refugee backgrounds. The role will involve coordination and provision of advice and education concerning child safety (child protection), family relationships and domestic violence.
The successful candidate will receive ongoing support from a diverse team and access to ongoing professional development opportunities and will form part of ARA’s growing Family Safety Team.

This is a part time (0.6FTE) Level 4 position of the SCHCDS Industry Award until February 2023 (maternity contract) commencing on 1 February 2022. The role will be primarily located in Salisbury.
