About the role

The Specialist Adviser will play a leading role in promoting understanding and active participation in the prevention of and the fight against corruption in the Pacific region through students, staff and identified stakeholders. They will also proactively raise awareness regarding the existence, causes, gravity of and the threat posed by corruption, as well as a deeper understanding of how to identify, prevent and address potential corruption.

Your key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Lead discussions and consultations with internal and external stakeholders on anti-corruption aligned to UNOCD’s ‘Education for Justice Initiative’
  • Produce high quality anti-corruption tool kit, including stand-alone modules and suitable for incorporation into existing training and development programs.
  • Deliver anti-corruption training to identified APTC staff
  • Establish evaluation systems to assess the relevance and quality of the program following implementation, and to identify future capability requirements.
  • Provide complex reports and recommendations to APTC and UN PRAC.

Contract duration: 60 days (based on submission of timesheet).

Daily Rate: ARFD4 consultancy rate as identified by APTC (based on an 8-hour day). Any additional hours necessary to perform the duties is a component of the Consultant’s role and has been considered in setting the Consultant’s daily rate.
