Apples and Sage Organic Wholefoods in Balwyn is dedicated to people who love food and care about what they consume.

We require an additional buyer to join our team and report to our senior buyer/owner.

The role requires:

• A hands on approach that requires you to spend time on the retail floor, so that you understand our customer and team member needs
• You will need to support the senior buyer in all aspects of the buying process.
• You need to be computer savvy , both with forecasting systems and e-commerce platforms.
• The accurate creation of purchase orders
• The imputing of range data into our system
• Product analysis
• Planogramming the floor
• Professionally deal with our supplier base, communicating in a timely and concise manner

Ideal Qualifications:

• Previous Buying experience essential
• Effective interpersonal communication and written skills
• Ability to work independently, requiring minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail .
• Sound numerical and analytical skills.
• Computer software and e commerce literate
• Flexibility to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
