The Opportunity

As a Senior Full Stack Web Developer in our Academy Product team you will lead the Agile development of customised applications and services for our online learning platform, the APNIC Academy. The Academy has over 20,000 registered users and you'll provide technical leadership to ensure the on-time delivery of high-quality applications and services. You'll use your lateral thinking to develop innovative solutions to further enhance the product and see the difference it makes to our community.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a cloud-based environment, working across a tech stack that includes REACT, AWS, NoSQL and PHP.

The Academy product is in an exciting period of growth due to ongoing funding from our Foundation and you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting project such as the standing up of a brand-new mobile application using REACT native.

About You

This role is ideally suited to someone who is familiar with Agile methodologies and working within a Product Team. You will also have a relevant qualification and experience across the full stack including:

• Strong JavaScript, CSS & HTML programming Skills including React JS Framework

• PHP, including some experience with LAMP Stack

• Strong back-end experience working with APIs, Docker and writing various scripts

• RDMS and No-SQL databases

• Understanding of UX and user-interface design

• Atlassian and JIRA

• Git and CI/CD

It would also be nice if your background included:

• Typescript,

• AWS Cloud experience (e.g. Lambda, Dynamo DB, AppSync)

• SCRUM Master experience or certifications

• Kubermetes and Helm

We're a Not-For-Profit and are responsible for overseeing the distribution of IP addresses - and wider Internet addressing services - to governments, organisations and individuals. We also provide support to our membership of more than 8,000 across 56 economies.
