About your new role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a graphic designer with at least six years of experience and some serious creative flair to join our talented small team.

In this role you will:

• Create innovative design solutions for magazines, large-scale events, websites, print and digital marketing collateral and other digital platforms that have “wow” factor.
• Negotiate briefs with college departments on their design campaigns and requirements.
• Project manage multiple, complicated design pieces of work including events and campaigns.
• Interpret and translate complex information into simple design messaging.
• Develop and grow the college’s design offerings through implementing the latest digital technology.

Skills and experience:

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A tertiary qualification in design.
• Be fully literate and technically sound in the Adobe Creative Suite, with exceptional command of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Have demonstrated ability to interpret complex information and translate it into simple design solutions and data visualisation.
• A strong folio of digital and print design work.
• A willingness to learn new skills.
• Impressive reading, writing and comprehension skills with exceptional attention to detail and an ability to proof your own work.

You will also be:

• A friendly, supportive and professional team player who is respectful and able to move seamlessly between working with doctors, staff and other designers.
• A designer of integrity who behaves ethically, and is trustworthy and reliable.
• Able to demonstrate sound judgement and good decision making.
