About the Role

Currently, we are seeking highly enthusiastic and experienced support workers to assist with supporting participants. The aim is to ensure that our recipients can participate meaningfully in their family and community life.

What we need from you:

  • Availability for shifts
  • Willingness to travel up to 30 minutes for work
  • A strong desire to provide quality client service and the ability to make that connection so that you are welcomed you into their home;
  • Flexibility and ability to be adaptive;
  • Ability to provide assistance with housework including preparation of meals;
  • Highly professional and able to act in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner;
  • Current police check less than 3 months old or willingness to undertake one with annecto;
  • Current First Aid (with 12 months to run) and CPR Qualifications (with 3 months to run) or willingness to complete prior to employment;
  • Current drives license and own transport vehicle with insurance.

What would be great to have:

  • Ability to speak or understand another language (eg Turkish, Chinese, Vietnamese or Macedonian)
  • Similar experience in a similar organisation.
  • A relevant qualification.
