About the role?

The Coordinator- Workforce Development will report to the Manager (NMR), and will provide leadership support and guidance to the Workforce Coordination team while providing indirect support to Support Workers. The incumbent will also contribute to the development of service practice through regular staff meetings, and provide support towards continuous improvement through process reviews in line with legislative requirements, funding service agreements and organisation policy and procedure.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in relevant health and/or social sciences;
  • Demonstrated commitment to the Purpose and Principles of annecto - the people network;
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with culturally diverse groups;
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a high degree of initiative;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Ability to manage, motivate and support a team to achieve goals through learning and development;
  • Demonstrated experience in meeting quality standards, working within financial budgets and some exposure to business development;
  • Demonstrated capacity to exercise sound judgement, initiative, decisiveness and accountability and result orientation;
  • NDIS Worker screening check

What would be great to have?

  • Experience working in a similar capacity in a community based not-for-profit organisation.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme and the disability sector;
  • Exposure to government funding expectations, policies and current practice in the delivery of services.
