About the role?

The Coordinator, clients services will report to the NMR manager and work within Case Management team. They will assist, support and provide ongoing leadership to the case management, reception/ administrative, and all locums teams.

The incumbent will contribute to the promotion, planning and development of services for all eligible clients within NMR. They will be engaged with all key stakeholders, and ensure homemade packages are planned, implemented and monitored in consultation with individuals, their carers, service providers and other significant people in the person’s life.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant health and/or social sciences
  • Excellent understanding of the Aged care reforms
  • Demonstrated commitment to the Purpose and Principles of annecto - the people network;
  • Demonstrated management capability in quality, financial management, learning and development, business development, program guidelines and relevant legislative framework;
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with culturally diverse groups
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a high degree of initiative;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop policies and procedures.
  • Current unrestricted Victorian Drivers licence.

What would be great to have?

  • Knowledge of local/regional community resources/professional services to support older and vulnerable Australians;
  • Experience working in a similar capacity in a community based not-for-profit organisation.
  • Experience in project management
  • Training in person centred Planning approaches
