Join a not-for-profit legal-tech startup working towards a world where everyone can access justice.

  • Join a team revolutionising the legal assistance sector by innovating the provision of free legal support through social enterprise, technology, and human-centred design.
  • As the fourth employee in an executive role, play an integral role in the strategic direction, leadership, and social impact of the organisation.

  • As both an early employee and senior manager reporting to the CEO, you will have the opportunity to develop leadership and management skills as well as learning a variety of skills through on-the-ground implementation.


There is an unmet need for community legal assistance.

Each year, over 600,000 Australians cannot access legal assistance but cannot afford it. And even those who are able to access legal assistance can struggle, with legal services commonly delivered in ways that can be difficult for regular people to understand.

There is also an unmet need for practical legal training.

Each year, thousands of law students miss out on practical legal training opportunities, even though they are willing to volunteer their time and services. These law students are eager to develop their practical skills before graduation and improve access to justice.


We provide free, online legal assistance & practical legal training opportunities

We are a registered charity and social enterprise that envisions a world where everyone can access justice. And we work towards our vision by providing free legal assistance to the community through an online platform, which is powered by law students seeking practical legal opportunities through paid university programs.

You are a driven and entrepreneurial self-starter who’s eager for adventure and likes challenging the way things are done. You’ll also have a strong sense of social justice, and some of the key skills and experience.

  • The right person will join the executive leadership team, and executive responsibilities will be reallocated based on their skills. We will prioritise the right attitude, cultural fit and ability to learn required skills over experience.

  • You are eager for responsibility across leadership, management and business strategy at an executive level.

  • You are adaptable - willing to step out of your role to pick up new responsibilities and tackle new challenges as they (frequently) arise.

  • You are a fast learner with a base of strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.


You will have one or more of the following skill sets, and a willingness to learn others.

  • Digital Marketing - Google Ads, SEO, content marketing, analytics, social media advertising.

  • Online Fundraising - social media fundraising campaigns, P2P fundraising, crowdfunding, etc.

  • Philanthropic Partnerships - private trusts & foundations, government grants, high net worth donors.

  • Partnerships with a variety of stakeholders - forming referral partnerships with community organisations, business development with university law school customers and pro bono partnerships with corporates.

  • Experience in startups, the legal sector, and the not-for-profit sector highly regarded.
