About the Position

We are seeking to engage a Senior Clinician to join the Enhanced Care team to provide youth friendly, family inclusive and culturally appropriate services to young people accessing our services.

Support young people with complex needs and provide therapeutic interventions and care coordination whilst offering clinical support and advice to the Enhanced Care team. The Enhanced Care program assists young people aged 12 to 25 years experiencing complex mental health issues. Reporting to the Team Leader Enhanced Care, this role will include the provision of assessment, care planning, referrals, consultation and therapeutic input. The Senior Clinician Enhanced Care will work closely with General Practitioners, clinical staff and allied health contracted staff across the headspace Darwin/Palmerston clinical teams as well as service providers to coordinate care, identify and address the barriers and challenges to accessing appropriate service pathways and effective treatment.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months)and a current Northern Territory driver’s licence.
