About the Position

You will provide effective engagement, screening, assessment, brief interventions and coordinated care for young people and their families accessing both individual therapeutic support and group-based therapies (Functional Recovery Program, FRP).

You will be skilled at assessing the needs of young people in a timely and efficient manner, including complex risk assessments and subsequent safety plans.

You will provide leadership and support to the headspace Katherine rostered Access Clinicians to deliver effective assessments, evidence-based interventions and coordinated care for young people aged 12-25 years and their families. You will work within the headspace service model, including attending weekly outreach visits to communities within the Katherine and surrounding regions. As the Senior Clinician Access & FRP, you will work closely with the other Senior Clinician and the Centre Manager.

You will uphold the values of Anglicare NT and provide quality services within the scope of the position and associated delegations.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months)and a current Northern Territory driver’s licence.
