As the Reception & Administration Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for young people, families and visitors accessing headspace services. You will create a warm, professional and inclusive environment while keeping our busy centre running smoothly behind the scenes.
In this role, you will manage a range of responsibilities across reception and administration. You will answer calls, respond to enquiries and coordinate appointments, while also supporting referrals and ensuring information is accurately recorded in our systems. Your ability to stay organised and manage competing priorities will help ensure young people can access support when they need it.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, providing day-to-day administrative support, coordinating bookings, assisting with meetings and travel, and helping maintain the presentation and operation of the office. You will also contribute to financial administration tasks and help monitor resources such as fleet and office supplies.
You are someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering high-quality service. You remain calm under pressure, can juggle multiple tasks and approach your work with professionalism and attention to detail.
You will bring experience in reception or administration, ideally within a health or community setting, along with strong communication skills and confidence using digital systems. You understand the importance of discretion and confidentiality, and you are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Most importantly, you have a genuine interest in supporting young people and contributing to a service that makes a real difference in the community.
